Who is Tzannis Soldatos?
Tzannis Soldatos always knew he wanted to become a pâtissier. Inspired by his uncle, one of the first pastry chefs in Santorini, he has always found himself captivated by sweet textures, delicate aromas, and the flavours of traditional Greek and international desserts. From an early age, he dedicated himself to studying the pastry art and never stopped exploring the sweet world of confectionery, a world filled with flavours and memories.

Tzannis Soldatos studied at Le Monde Institute, where he built the foundation of his craft and developed his passion for the art of pastry. He then gained experience at the historic pâtisserie Serrano, Roumeli in Moschato, and Oriental in Athens. Constantly striving for growth, he has attended numerous seminars and training programs focused not only on modern pastry techniques and trends but also on areas such as marketing, quality customer service, and health and safety in hospitality. His continuous education reflects his philosophy: knowledge, professionalism, and attention to every detail.

He has collaborated with award-winning pâtisseries, restaurants, and hotels across Greece, including TUI Blue Meltemi and the renowned beachfront restaurant 41 in Santorini, Cove Restaurant at Aeonic Suites and Paraj Mykonos in Mykonos, Ipeirotissa in Athens, and many more in Paros, Chios, and Kos, overseeing the creation and curation of desserts distinguished by their refined aesthetics and exceptional flavour.
He has been recognised in international pastry competitions, earning awards that highlight both his technical mastery and creative vision. As a Private Pastry Chef, he has curated high-profile events, weddings, and VIP occasions, delivering bespoke sweet experiences that left a lasting impression. In parallel, he conducts presentations and seminars for professionals and pastry enthusiasts alike, sharing his expertise and passion to inspire and elevate the craft, while also collaborating with businesses abroad.
